"Swindle"
Student's in Mr. Patterson's Language Arts classes are reading Swindle by Gordon Korman. Swindle is a real page turner involving a valuable Babe Ruth baseball card, a no good con man, and an angry, attacking doberman named Luthor.

Bully Prevention Parent Meeting

Canon-McMillan School District
Kristen N. Salamone, Olweus Trainer and Consultant for the Intermediate Unit 1 and Lori Hedderman, CMS Guidance Counselor is conducting a parent session on bullying on January 25 at 6:00 PM in the Canonsburg Middle School auditorium. Bullying is one of the most important issues facing our children today. This training will give parents the most up to date information on bullying including statistics, facts and tips on how to handle bullying behaviors. Participants will explore what bullying is, how to spot it and what to do if you suspect bullying behaviors in your child or others. This training will also highlight what our local school districts are doing to address bullying behaviors.
